Agile PMO Lead - United Arab Emirates - 6months + (Freelance)

Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for an Agile PMO Lead for an exciting project with a global FMCG client of ours.

Requirements for the Agile PMO Lead

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Preference for a Master's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a similar field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in agile, with at least 5 years in a PMO role.
• Comprehensive understanding of agile methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
• A proven history of leading agile transformations in digital and technology settings.
• Experience in the CPG industry is highly desirable.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel within the Middle East based on project needs. When not travelling, the candidate can work remotely.
• Certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM are beneficial.

Job responsibilities:

Agile PMO Strategy and Supervision:

• Manage the entire project management life cycle and governance for D&T initiatives.
• Establish and uphold PMO standards for agile methodologies, ensuring uniformity and quality.

Financial Competence and Budget Supervision:

• Utilize robust knowledge of financial forecasting and budgeting procedures to manage the financial aspects of digital and technology projects.
• Ensure that project budgets are meticulously planned, precise, and are in line with the company's financial objectives and limitations.

Customization of Agile Framework:

• Adapt agile frameworks to accommodate the specific needs of the company's digital and technology projects.
• Work together with project managers to integrate agile methodologies into project planning and implementation.

Leadership and Team Development:

• Direct, guide, and cultivate a team of project managers and supporting personnel.
• Promote a culture of constant improvement within the PMO.

Strategic Planning:

• Work with top-level management to create strategic plans for digital transformation and technological advancements.
• Set and sustain project management standards and practices within the PMO.

Project Governance and Compliance:

• Ensure all digital and technology projects comply with the strictest governance standards and meet compliance requirements.
• Carry out regular audits of projects to guarantee alignment with agile principles and the strategic goals of the company.

Management and Communication of Stakeholders:

• Serve as a crucial link between the PMO, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment of project objectives.
• Handle stakeholder expectations and offer transparent reporting on project status and agile metrics.
