Laboratory Assistant (Contract)

Location: Aargau Country: Switzerland
 

Laboratory Assistant vacancy for a globally operating Aargau based company in the agricultural sector.

Your tasks:

  • Conducting research activities in a laboratory setting, including experimental setup and execution
  • Recording observations and measurements and reporting results to appropriate stakeholders
  • Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in cleanrooms and laboratory equipment through regular disinfecting and cleaning
  • Assisting with the receipt and inspection of raw materials to ensure compliance with standards
  • Managing inventory by ordering and stocking laboratory materials and equipment
  • Ensuring adherence to laboratory safety protocols and procedures at all times

Your experience/knowledge:

  • Familiarity with commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a laboratory environment
  • Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions
  • Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques such as pipetting, measuring, dilution, and solution preparation
  • Ability to accurately record observations, measurements, and experimental procedures
  • University degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field
  • Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken
