Stott and May are currently working with a dynamic Digital Advertising Company who are looking to grow their team.
As a Server Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the server infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable server solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and deploying server architectures to support the company's applications and services.
- Configuring and optimizing server hardware and software for performance and efficiency.
- Monitoring server performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to ensure uptime and availability.
- Implementing security best practices to protect server infrastructure from potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborating with software engineers and system administrators to integrate server solutions into existing systems.
- Documenting server configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Key Skills - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience working as a Server Engineer or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of server hardware, operating systems
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (eg, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex server issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
