What is 'JavaScript'?
JavaScript is one of the most popular scripting languages on the internet, it allows websites to add interactive/dynamic content to their web pages.
Why should I enable JavaScript?
JavaScript is required for many features of the NetTemps website. We highly recommend that JavaScript is enabled. If it is disabled many features of the website will not work correctly.
How do I enable JavaScript?
To enable JavaScript, please choose the web browser you are currently using. If your browser is not listed below, please consult its help resources.
Internet Explorer
To enable JavaScript in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10
- Click Start > Control Panel, or in Windows 8 search for 'control panel'.
- Click the Internet Options icon. If you are in 'Category' view, you may first need to click the Network and Internet Connections category.
- Select the Security tab.
- Whilst having the 'Internet' zone selected, click the Custom Level button.
- Scroll down until you see the Scripting section.
- Select the 'Enable' radio button for 'Active Scripting'.
- Click the OK button.
Firefox
To enable JavaScript in Mozilla Firefox 3.x or newer for Windows:
- Click Tools > Options.
- Click Content tab in the top panel.
- Select the 'Enable JavaScript' checkbox.
- Click the OK button.
Google Chrome
To enable JavaScript in Google Chrome:
- Click the 'menu' (three lines) icon.
- Select 'Settings'.
- Click Show Advanced Settings.
- In the Privacy section, click Content Settings.
- Select the 'Allow all sites to run JavaScript' radio button.
Safari
To enable JavaScript in Apple Safari:
- Go to the Safari drop-down menu.
- Select Preferences.
- Click Security in the top panel.
- Select the 'Enable JavaScript' checkbox.
Opera
To enable JavaScript in Opera 9 or 10:
- Go to the Tools drop-down menu.
- Select Preferences.
- Click Advanced tab in the top panel.
- Select the Content category.
- Select the 'Enable JavaScript' checkbox.
- Click the OK button.
