As a Package Design Software Engineer Intern at Micron you will be responsible for software support of design systems. In this position, you will work with Package Design, Document Control, and Engineering Managers across international sites to develop, implement, and maintain integrated software solutions.

Responsibilities

Relational database development and maintenance

- Perform Database design and normalization

- Perform SQL query design and optimization

- Perform basic SQL server administration

Application development in a Microsoft environment

- Have experience with C# and Window Services

- have experience with current web technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, etc.

- Have experience with SharePoint integration

Contribute to a safe and compliant work environment

- Identify and promptly report hazards

- Follow safety procedures and area work rules

Qualifications

Sucessful candidates for this position will have:

- Knowledge in a multitude of software languages and development tools

- Strong organizational skills

- Good verbal and written communication skills

- Strong software engineering skills

Education/Experience

Preferred: BS degree in computer science

Junior and senior level BS degree candidates will be considered

2+ years in software development desired

Must have continued coursework during fall 2019 (graduation date cannot be before September 1, 2019)
