Role Summary:As part of the GE Aviation Military Systems Secure Digital Solutions team, this individual will contribute to the definition and implementation of the next generation of Identity & Access management tools and processes in support of security hardened environments. This person will collaborate and integrate with existing GE Aviation access management initiatives in order to drive compliant solutions in our highly regulated business segment.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Create the solutions and architecture deliverables for the Active Directory, multi-factor, and protection level 2 & 3 requirements within the Military secured networks
  • Design, Build, Test and Deploy technology solutions within directory services, identify management, and multi-factor services
  • Review existing processes for optimization with proposal plans and potential outcome benefits
  • Be a thought leader in the overall identity landscape for secure networks
  • Work directly with vendors and suppliers to pilot, qualify, and validate tools which enable security, automation and high availability
  • Define a Product strategy for Secure Identify and Access Management
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or "STEM" majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience
  • Must be willing to work our of an office located in Evendale, Ohio
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government SECRET security clearance
  • Must be a US Citizen, legally authorized to work in the US. GE will not agree to sponsor individuals' employment visas, now or in the future, for this role
Desired Characteristics:
Technical Expertise:
  • Experience with multi-factor technologies (Okta, RSA, SafeNet, Symantec etc.)
  • Experience with Identity & Access Management technologies (SailPoint IdentityIQ, Oracle Identity Analytics, Savyint, etc.)
  • Experience with reading/writing code in an Object Oriented programming language (Java, C#, Python, etc.)
  • Experience with web services (JSON, SOAP, XML, etc.)
  • Proficient in writing SQL and PL/SQL as well as understanding of relational databases
  • Commitment to advocating for solid development practices, (Source control, CI/CD, automated infrastructure, etc.)
  • Strong planning & project management skills
Business Acumen:
  • CISSP or equivalent certification a plus
  • Exceptional communication skills with technical and non-technical communities
  • Experience working in an environment with JSIG, DAAPM, export control requirements, SOX requirements, FDA requirements, etc.
  • Proven ability to coordinate and influence large groups
  • Strong team player -collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources
  • Communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions
  • Ability to resolve complex issues within functional area and/or area of expertise
  • Ability to develop and execute priorities and approaches to meet objectives
  • Makes data driven decision to resolve business problems
  • Design, Build, and Test Deploy
  • Project management experience required
  • You have worked on Active Directory architecture/initiatives/migrations
  • You have basic knowledge of IT Operations. ITIL v4 Foundations certified is a plus
  • You have strong leadership skills, with capability to lead significant change for the company. Able to effectively lead projects across multiple verticals and across multiple suppliers
  • You have strong communication and influencing skills
  • Experience with technologies related to other initiatives in InfoSec a plus - SalePoint Identity Cube, PING Directory, ESAE Red Forest, etc.
